Invitation To Tender 
The Board of Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad (FGV) welcomes the appointment of Azhar Abdul Hamid as the Non-Independent and Non-Executive Chairman of Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad effective 08 September 2017.
Azhar, 56, joins the family of FGV with a wealth of experience including in the plantation industry, having served in various companies including as the Group Managing Director of Malakoff Corporation Bhd, Chairman of Tradewinds Corporation Berhad (Tradewinds), President/Group Managing Director of Tradewinds, Chief Executive Officer of Mass Rapid Transit Corporation, Group Chief Executive of Pernas International Holdings Berhad and various key positions within the Sime Darby Group.
A certified accountant, Azhar had also served as Chairman for Malaysian Palm Oil Association (MPOA) from 2007 – 2010.
On behalf of the Group, the Board also wishes to record its highest appreciation to YBhg Tan Sri Dr. Sulaiman for his invaluable contributions as the Acting Chairman since 19 June 2017

Pihak Lembaga Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad (FGV) mengalu-alukan pelantikan Azhar Abdul Hamid sebagai Pengerusi Bukan Bebas Bukan Eksekutif Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad berkuatkuasa 08 September 2017.
Azhar, 56, mempunyai pengalaman luas termasuk dalam industri perladangan, telah berkhidmat dalam pelbagai syarikat antaranya Pengarah Urusan Kumpulan Malakoff Corporation Bhd., Pengerusi Tradewinds Corporation Berhad (Tradewinds), Presiden/Pengarah Urusan Kumpulan Tradewinds, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Mass Rapid Transit Corporation, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Pernas International Holdings Berhad dan pelbagai jawatan penting dalam Kumpulan Sime Darby.
Azhar merupakan akauntan bertauliah dan pernah menjadi Pengerusi Persatuan Minyak Sawit Malaysia (MPOA) dari 2007 – 2010.
