Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad (FGV) signed Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC)’s Corruption-Free Pledge as a proactive step in the Group’s commitment towards good corporate governance.
FGV Group President and Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Zakaria Arshad signed the pledge, witnessed by the Inspection and Consultative Division of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), Dato’ Mohd Yusof Mohd Zain and FGV’s Group Chairman, Azhar Abdul Hamid.
Dato’ Zakaria also led the Corruption-Free Pledge together with over 800 FGV Group’s senior management and employees in conjunction with an Integrity Leadership Forum organised by the Group’s Governance Division (GGD).
The forum featured prominent speakers, MACC’s former Deputy Chief Commissioner (Management and Professionalism), Dato’ Sri Zakaria Jaffar and President of Transparency International Malaysia (TI-M) Dato’ Akhbar Satar.
According to Dato’ Zakaria, FGV has always emphasised on best corporate governance and integrity, more so since its listing in 2012. One of the efforts undertaken was to establish a dedicated division responsible for the implementation and monitoring, which is headed by an officer seconded from MACC, Dato’ Abdul Wahab Abdul Aziz.
“MACC is currently drafting guidelines on the establishment of a similar unit, which could be emulated by other government-linked companies (GLCs),” he said.
FGV has also appointed 39 officers as Governance & Integrity Champions amongst its employees to highlight on governance and integrity issues in FGV Group.
At the same event, FGV also launched the Anti-Corruption Revolution Movement (GERAH), a campaign by MACC to place corruption as the number one enemy for Malaysians. The campaign in FGV would focus on the 3J messages; “Jangan Hulur, Jangan Kawtim, Jangan Settle” (Don’t Give and Don’t Settle).

Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad (FGV) menandatangani Ikrar Bebas Rasuah (IBR) FGV sebagai langkah pro-aktif di dalam komitmen Kumpulan terhadap tadbir urus korporat yang baik.
Presiden dan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Kumpulan FGV Dato’ Zakaria Arshad menandatangani ikrar tersebut, disaksikan oleh Pengarah Bahagian Pemeriksaan dan Perundingan, Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM), Dato’ Mohd Yusof bin Mohd Zain dan Pengerusi Kumpulan FGV, Azhar Abdul Hamid.
Dato’ Zakaria turut mengetuai lafaz Ikrar Bebas Rasuah FGV bersama lebih 800 pengurusan kanan dan kakitangan Kumpulan FGV di majlis bersempena Forum Kepimpinan Berintegriti yang dianjurkan oleh Bahagian Tadbir Urus Kumpulan (GGD).
Forum Kepimpinan Berintegriti tersebut menampilkan penceramah terkemuka, bekas Timbalan Ketua Pesuruhjaya (Pengurusan dan Profesionalisme) SPRM, Dato’ Seri Zakaria Jaffar dan Presiden Transparency International Malaysia (TI-M) Dato’ Akhbar Satar.
Menurut Dato’ Zakaria, FGV sentiasa menekankan integriti dan tadbir urus korporat terbaik lebih-lebih lagi sejak penyenaraiannya pada 2012. Antara usaha yang dijalankan adalah dengan mewujudkan satu bahagian khusus yang bertanggungjawab ke atas pelaksanaan dan pemantauannya yang diketuai oleh pegawai yang dipinjamkan oleh SPRM iaitu Dato’ Abdul Wahab Abdul Aziz.
“Ketika ini SPRM sedang merangka garis panduan penubuhan unit serupa yang boleh dicontohi oleh syarikat berkaitan kerajaan (GLC) yang lain,” katanya.
FGV turut melantik seramai 39 orang kakitangannya sebagai Governance & Integrity Champion untuk mengetengahkan isu-isu tadbir urus dan integriti di dalam Kumpulan FGV.
Dalam majlis yang sama, FGV turut melancarkan Gerakan Revolusi Anti Rasuah (GERAH), iaitu kempen SPRM untuk menjadikan rasuah sebagai musuh utama rakyat Malaysia. GERAH di FGV akan menekankan mesej 3J iaitu; JANGAN HULUR, JANGAN KAWTIM, JANGAN SETTLE.
