PEKAN, 3 SEPTEMBER 2017 – The Aidiladha celebration for community in FELDA Chini was more meaningful this year as the sacrificial slaughter or korban event was jointly organised by Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad (FGV) and Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA).
FGV contributed five cattle for the korban, under the names of the poor in Chini, as part of the Group’s corporate responsibility (CR). A total of 10 cattle were sacrificed including individual sacrifices, with the cooperation of FGV and FELDA staff who worked together to ensure the success of the event.
FGV Officer In-Charge, Dato’ Khairil Anuar Aziz said FGV was delighted to celebrate Aidiladha with FELDA Group members together with the settlers community.

Also present were Acting Director General of FELDA, Tuan Haji Ab. Ghani Mohd Ali and Pahang State Government EXCO and Chini Assemblyman who is also the Board Member of FELDA and FGV, YB. Dato ‘Abu Bakar Harun.
At the event, FGV also donated RM10,000 to Al-Makmuriah Mosque, Felda Chini 03.
“Even during the times of the Prophets, the mosque has always been a center of activity for the community. Hopefully with the small contribution from FGV, it will turn to be a great benefit to the people of Felda Chini 3 in planning community activities,” said Dato’ Khairil Anuar.
The FGV also donated a total of 25 cattle for Aidiladha celebration at several other locations, namely Kota Tinggi, Sekijang, Muar in Johor and Tanjung Malim (Perak).
