Nurturing and Retaining Our Employees
FGV strongly believes in nurturing and retaining quality employees as they play a pivotal role towards the success and growth of the Group. In line with this, ongoing employee development and training programmes are regularly scheduled to further enhance skills and productivity of our employees, these include leadership development programmes as well as a First Line Managers programme. Focusing on grooming talent, these programmes offer recognized qualifications such as Executive Master in Management (People Leadership) and Diploma in Management (Front Line Leaders). Top performers are identified for participation in these courses which are conducted by private training vendors in collaboration with tertiary institutions such as Asia e-university and the Australian Institute of Management.
FGV Group Guideline And Procedure For Responsible Recruitment Of Foreign Workers
Consistent with our commitment to human rights, FGV strives to ensure that the rights of its employees including foreign workers are always respected and fulfilled. Acknowledging that foreign workers are more vulnerable to human rights abuse and often fall victim to exploitation, we are taking all necessary steps to protect the rights of our foreign workers.
To this end, FGV has recently adopted its Guidelines and Procedures for the Responsible Recruitment of Foreign Workers. This document provides a clear set of guidelines to ensure responsible and ethical recruitment of foreign workers and cover various stages of the recruitment process namely pre-employment, employment and post-employment processes. The guidelines and procedures apply to the FGV Group including its listed and non-listed subsidiaries worldwide.
